The battery can be used for about 7-10 days. It is easy to recharge.

Battery system
If the battery runs empty it will produce a high tone. This will continue until the battery is completely empty. It is important to recharge as soon as the tone occurs. The picture shows where to connect the cable.
A battery system is also very useful when there is a danger of people tripping over the cable.
